    Women in Africa toil for almost every person in the family fending for food and some times all the necessities of livelihood. Greater still the majority get much of this throuh tilling the land, the men only available for produce that can be valued in monetary terms. In Uganda we have the Women Land rights movement aimed at sensitising and advocating for the rights of women to own land.
    Its paramount that women should own land for sustainable development.
