Rice co-operatives bring prosperity to Benin

To complement our story from Guinea, this week’s script is related to rice farming in West Africa. It comes from our most recent script package, distributed in December 2011. The script was written by Félix Houinsou, from Radio Immaculée Conception, a Farm Radio International broadcasting partner in Benin. It is developed from actual interviews with farmers and co-operative members. The script explains why the co-operative was formed, how it operates and the benefits for members.
