Radio and ICT Officers training in Arusha − Part two: GRINs
Date Posted: June 11th, 2012
In the second week of the Radio and ICT officers training, we welcomed Zahir Koradia and Kapil Dadheech from Gram Vaani, a social development organization. They travelled all the way from New Delhi, India to introduce GRINS to the participants, who came from eight countries in Africa. GRINS is a radio automation system designed specifically for community radio stations. The training was very hands-on, with participants learning how to operate and troubleshoot GRINs and look at different uses for the technology.
You can watch a short video which explains more about GRINS technology here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oVOLuzXljSI
