AMARC and FORCOM conference on community radio

The National Forum of Community Radio Broadcasters of Mozambique (FORCOM) and the World Association of Community Radio Broadcasters in Africa (AMARC Africa) are together organizing an international conference on the theme: “Critical Reflections on Community Radios and Access to Information in Southern Africa,” from December 3 to 5, 2012, in Maputo, Mozambique.
The conference will examine community radio’s role in participatory and democratic communication for the development of marginalized communities in southern Africa. The conference will facilitate sharing experience and knowledge in order to generate new knowledge and develop new models for sustainable community radio in Africa.
